SYMPOSIUM COMPONENTS
Motivational Talk
The symposium will kick off with a powerful and inspiring talk by Coach Bobby, who will share personal stories of overcoming adversity and encourage student-athletes to focus on their goals and tap into their full potential. His unique style will set the tone for the rest of the event, energizing and inspiring students to take on the day's activities with confidence and enthusiasm."
"BTY Parenting" Workshop
As difficult as it is to be a student-athlete, being the parent of one presents its own unique set of challenges. At the symposium, we recognize the vital role that parents play in their children's success, and offer a special session just for parents that covers topics such as supporting your child's athletic dreams, promoting healthy habits, and fostering a positive and supportive home environment.
Ice-Breaker & Interactive Sessions
The ice-breaker is an important part of the event. It helps to create a positive, supportive, and learning environment that encourages students to engage fully with the rest of the day's activities. Fun and engaging, the ice-breaker is designed to help students get to know each other, build camaraderie, and connect with like-minded peers who share their passion for sports and personal growth.
Chalk Talks
Without a doubt, what separates the BTY Symposium from any other sports-based event is our focus on the unknown secrets to greatness. Coach Bobby's proprietary 5 Steps to Greatness offers guidance in discipline, motivation, and goal setting in a fun, interactive environment that teaches young student-athletes how to add mental and emotional strength to their skills and talents to create a compete student-athlete.
Physical Training
Whether in the weight room or on the track or field, the symposium provides age and skill-appropriate training to enhance and teach fundamentals of strength, speed, quickness, and explosiveness. This event element offers unlimited potential for partnering with companies and organizatins looking to add our motivational and mental training to their existing program or collaborating with local trainers, coaches, and field or sport experts.
Sport-Specific Training
The symposium is a great opportunity for targeted coaching in all areas. For sport-specific symposiums, the training sessions are tailored to focus on specific skills, movements, exercises, and drills unique to that particular sport. This dedicated approach allows student-athletes to receive targeted and specialized training designed to enhance their performance and proficiency, helping them refine their abilities and elevate their game.
